IVSC Education Awards – Terms and Conditions
By submitting an entry to the IVSC Education Awards, applicants agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility. The Awards are open to academic institutions participating in the IVSC Academic Forum. To be eligible, the teaching, module or initiative that is the subject of the submission must form part of a valuation programme accredited by a Valuation Professional Organisation (VPO) that is a member or associate member of the IVSC.
2. Submission. Entries must be submitted through the online form by the published closing date. There is no fee to enter. Institutions may enter more than one category using a single submission.
3. Accuracy and permissions. Applicants confirm that the information provided is accurate, that they have permission to share any third-party materials included, and that appropriate consent has been obtained where identifiable individuals are referenced.
4. Retention of submissions and contact information. The IVSC will retain submitted materials and the contact information provided in order to administer the Awards and communicate with applicants about related IVSC Academic Forum activity. These will not be shared with any third party outside the IVSC and its appointed judging panel. Applicants may withdraw their submission and request removal of their materials and contact information at any stage by emailing contact@ivsc.org.
5. Use of submissions. Intellectual property in submitted materials remains with the applicant. Where an entry is shortlisted or wins an award, the IVSC may share elements of the submission through its communications channels and at IVSC events to promote best practice in valuation education, with the applicant’s agreement.
6. Judging. Entries will be reviewed by a panel drawn from the IVSC Academic Forum and the wider valuation community, assessed against the published criteria. The decisions of the panel are final.
7. Recognition. Winners and highly commended entries will be announced at the IVSC AGM. Recipients will receive an IVSC Education Awards certificate and will be invited to attend the IVSC Advisory Forum and Gala Dinner. Winners may reference their recognition in their own communications; use of the IVSC logo requires prior written permission.
8. General. The IVSC reserves the right to amend these terms, extend deadlines, or cancel or postpone the Awards where circumstances require. Personal data is processed in accordance with the IVSC Privacy Policy.
