IVSC Asia-Pacific Director
A senior, high-profile role leading IVSC’s engagement across Asia-Pacific – representing the organisation with investors, regulators, governments, development banks and the valuation profession, and growing its regional membership and presence.
Overview
The Asia-Pacific Director will be a driving force behind the continued evolution and professionalisation of valuation across the region. The role combines strategy and business development, and would suit a former partner or board member, or a senior manager or director, motivated by working in the public interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with investors, professional services firms, universities, Ministers, regulators, development banks, APEC, valuation professional organisations and accountancy bodies
- Speaking at conferences, events and webinars on behalf of IVSC
- Hosting events and webinars with partner organisations
- Attracting new members and sponsors, and growing a team to support both the global approach and regional outreach
- Working with an IVSC Asia-Pacific Committee on outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Leading occasional research projects
What IVSC Is Looking For
- A track record of communicating and selling a proposition
- Experience of working with board-level stakeholders across different backgrounds and cultures
- A strong understanding of business and the benefits of standards and professionalism
- An entrepreneurial approach to business development
- Excellent spoken and written English and strong public speaking skills
Package
