Global Survey on Valuation Education

Share your insights on current teaching practices, integration of IVS in curricula, and opportunities for collaboration.

Global Survey on Valuation Education
Letter to Academic Contacts

Dear Academic Colleague,

The IVSC Academic Forum has recently been established to bring together universities and academic institutions worldwide that are engaged in valuation education and research. The Forum’s mission is to:

  • Strengthen academic engagement with the IVSC by addressing gaps in valuation education, research, and professional practice.

  • Provide a global platform for collaboration between academia, practitioners, and professional bodies.

As part of this work, the Forum’s Educational Subcommittee is launching a survey to gather insights into valuation education across IVSC member countries. The survey aims to establish a baseline of current practice, explore opportunities to integrate International Valuation Standards (IVS) into curricula, and assess interest in future initiatives such as an IVSC Lecture Series.

Responses will be anonymised, with findings shared across the Academic Forum and used to inform future initiatives to support valuation education globally. We plan to present initial results at the IVSC AGM and Conference in New Delhi this October, and would greatly value your contribution. By sharing your perspectives, you will help shape IVSC’s approach to education, raise awareness of IVS in teaching, and strengthen the valuation profession worldwide.

The survey will remain open until 30 September 2025, allowing time to provide your input. Looking ahead, we also intend to develop an IVSC Lecture Series for members of the Academic Forum and participating institutions. If you would like to become more involved in the Forum, or have suggestions for future collaboration, please do not hesitate to contact us via contact@ivsc.org.

With thanks and best wishes,

Dr Uche Egwuatu
