The Valuation Pulse – AI & Technology in Valuation Sentiment Tracker

8 May 2026

The Valuation Pulse is an ongoing industry sentiment tracker, jointly published by the International Valuation Standards Council and 73 Strings. It is designed to track how valuation processes are evolving through advances in AI and technology, including shifts in automation, data usage, process maturity, transparency, and stakeholder expectations.

The IVSC / 73 Strings AI in Valuation Sentiment Tracker is open to anyone involved in the valuation landscape, including valuation professionals, firms, clients, investors, regulators, standard setters, academics and others with an interest in how technology is shaping valuation practice.

Responses will be anonymised and used to inform a regular sentiment tracker report, which will be shared with respondents and published on the IVSC website. The tracker explores how AI is evolving within the valuation process, the pace of that evolution, and how stakeholder sentiment is changing as new technologies become more embedded in valuation workflows.

The insights gathered will support the work of the IVSC’s AI and Technology Working Group, helping to inform future standard-setting activity and ensure that International Valuation Standards continue to evolve in line with market needs. They will also contribute to future thought leadership on AI in valuation, adding to the wider debate on the impact of new technologies that are fundamentally reshaping the world of valuation.
