The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) has released the Exposure Draft with the proposed changes to the International Valuation Standards (IVS). The comment period for feedback from practitioners, regulators and users of valuation services runs until 30th April 2026.
This ValuAsia Connect session will bring together valuation leaders in Asia to explore selected themes from the Exposure Draft and how the proposed updates intersect with developments in valuation practice. In a moderated discussion, speakers will share perspectives from the field, and will highlight practical considerations, emerging trends and the role of professional judgement in an evolving market environment.
The session will also provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on the proposed changes and to contribute their views as part of the consultation process. The revised IVS will be published on 31st January 2027 and will become effective on 31st January 2028.
