
The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of several new members across its Standards Boards. These appointments reflect IVSC’s ongoing commitment to international collaboration and the development of high-quality, principle-based valuation standards that serve the public interest and support a global valuation profession.
Each new board member brings significant expertise across asset classes, industries, and geographies. Their collective insights will strengthen the IVSC’s mission to ensure the International Valuation Standards (IVS) remain relevant, robust, and globally applicable in today’s fast-changing economic environment.
The following appointments take effect from April 2025, with new members set to attend their first in-person board meetings in Prague this June:
Business Valuation Board

Yingshi (Ryan) Tang (China) – Managing Partner, Zhongshui Zhiyuan (Shanghai), strategic valuation partner of Grant Thornton China

Tomasz Wiśniewski (Poland) – Partner, KPMG; Head of Business Valuation, Central and Eastern Europe

Sorin Petre (Romania) – Partner, PwC Romania; Leader of the Valuation and Economics Advisory Team
In addition, Srividya Gopal (Singapore), Managing Director and Southeast Asia Valuation Leader at Kroll, will assume the role of Chair of the Business Valuation Board from June 2025, following the conclusion of Richard Stewart’s term as Chair.
